Regional recovery post COVID-19

As Namibia opens her boarders post Covid-19 Lockdowns and begins to embark on ‘The road to economic recovery’, the journey is set to be the biggest challenge post-independence. Compared to the last severe economic contraction of 6,1% in the first quarter of 2009, economic activities in Namibia between April and June 2020 decreased by approximately N$4 billion when compared to 2019 – a 11% shrinkage. As nominal GDP growth weakens and government, households and corporates face rising levels of indebtedness, the need bridge the infrastructure gap and manage public assets is imperative.

Now more than ever, the development of our towns, regions and local authorities requires a more efficient method to procure infrastructure and meet service delivery requirements. With the current fiscal constraints, many of the regional developmental projects funded from budgetary allocations will simply not see the light of day. In order to develop resilient projects, the collaboration between private sector and government is no longer just an option – it has become order of the day.

REGIONAL ECONOMIC INDEPENDENCE
Recast your current problems into proactive goals.

When this collaboration is founded on fair risk allocation between parties, performance linked payments, incorporation of innovation to improve efficiencies, transparency, and competition to drive price – the result is a sustainable public private partnership.

Led by Certified PPP Professionals, we are a leading advisory and project management firm founded in Namibia. We support local governments to attract private sector investments, by identifying, structuring, and marketing attractive PPP projects

that have the potential to unlock regional economic activity, create employment and develop sustainable infrastructure. Our professional team uses international best practices,

and applies tools, techniques and local flavor, when guiding local authorities through the intricacies of identifying and

developing taylor-made investment opportunities.
